Import holdings from your broker
Earnings Bird can build your watchlist from the positions file your broker already lets you download, or from a pasted ticker list, so you don't have to search for every stock by hand. Pick your broker for exact steps:
- Fidelity (positions CSV from the website)
- Charles Schwab (positions CSV from the website)
- Vanguard (spreadsheet-compatible CSV download)
- E*TRADE (Morgan Stanley) (positions CSV from Portfolios)
- Robinhood (account-activity report (no positions file exists))
- Interactive Brokers (positions-only Flex Query CSV)
- Webull (copy and paste your positions list)
- Merrill Edge (copy and paste your Holdings page)
Any other broker
If your broker can download current positions as a CSV with a Symbol or Ticker column, the import will read it: open your dashboard, start adding a stock, switch to Bulk add, and choose Import your broker's CSV export. If not, pasting tickers into Bulk add (separated by commas or new lines) takes under a minute for most portfolios.
What Earnings Bird reads from the file
Your privacy matters here, so this is deliberately narrow. The CSV is read entirely in your browser. Only the resulting stock symbols (and company names) are sent to Earnings Bird to build your watchlist. Your position sizes, share counts, prices, and dollar amounts are never uploaded. They're used only on your own device, then discarded.
Cash rows, option positions, account totals, and money-market core positions are skipped automatically. Fund symbols can show up in the ticker list; you review the list before anything is added, so remove any you don't want.
Earnings Bird is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any brokerage. Broker names appear here only to describe how to export a file you already own from their websites.
